Faculty of Computer Science
Faculty of Computer Science was established at University of Computer Studies, Loikaw in 2017. Faculty of Computer Science is one of the largest faculties in the University of Computer Studies, Loikaw. The Faculty offers a combination of courses tha emphasize both a theoretical and a practical foundation in Computer Science. The courses offered from this faculty are Introduction to Computer System. Data Structure in C++, Advanced Data Structures in Java, Compture Organization, Object oriented Programming in C++, Java Programming Language (J2SE), Advanced Java (J2EE), Prolog Programming Language, Assembly Language Programming, Advanced Programming Languages, Advanced Analysis of Algorithms, Advanced Operating Systems, Distributed System Concepts, Computer Graphics and Computer Visions, Advanced Artifical Intelligence and Natural Language Processing. The faculty is strengthened by 9 teaching members and has successfully organized the seminar, teaching-aids discussion, group projects and short term training program. The faculty of computer science provides the effective soft skill that offer students to learn computer science in cooperative ways.

Dr. Zar Zar Lin
Biography
Zar Zar Linn, Ph.D.(IT), Professor and Head in Faculty of Computer Science, graduated from University of Computer Studies, Mandaly with a B.C.Sc (Hons:) in 2000 and received a M.C.Sc with distinction from University of Computer Studies, Mandalay, 2002. Then she obtained a Ph.D (IT), University of Comptuer Studies, Yangon 2007. She has supervised numerous undergraduate projects. And she has supervised many students on their M.C.Sc (Thesis). Her research interest areas are Nautral Language Processing, Software Engineering, Data Analysis and Data Mining.

She obtained Ph.D (IT) from University of Technology (Yatanapon Cyber City), Myanmar in 2014

She graduated with the B.C.Sc (Hons:) at from University of Computer Studies, Mandalay at September, 2004 and M.C.Sc from University of Computer Studies, Mandalay at September, 2005. Her Master Dissertation was Computer Aided Teaching for Graph Theory and Their Application 2005 and she got the Diploma Dissertation –Software Engineering Training Course at (ICTTI) in 2008.

Her academic dissertations are Travel Service Advisor System Based on Multi-Agent Technology, 2010 and Transforming Model Oriented Program into Android Source Code Based on Drools Rule Engine, 2018. Her interested research fields are model driven engineering, software development, software quality and object-oriented design pattern.
