VISION and MISSION

Vision

  • To raise the quality of being able to apply English Language in all respective computer subjects and computer fields in fostering the creative and skillful computer technicians.
  • Mission

  • To improve the students’ four skills-reading, writing, speaking, listening and also using grammar correctly.
  • To be able to apply these skills in studying their respective computer subjects.
  • To support capably in cultivating the outstanding computer technicians.
  • History of Department


    On 21st , February 2001 Computer Training Centre (Loikaw) was opened in the building of USDP office, firstly. Since the Government of College (Loikaw) was established in 2003, English subject is involved in supporting department that was organized by physics, Myanmar, mathematics. On 20th , January 2007, Government of computer college(Loikaw) was upgraded to University of Computer Studies(Loikaw). In 2017, Supporting department was reorganized as department of language by cooperating with department of Myanmar and department of English. The faculty members are carrying out the tasks to improve the students’ skills such as presentation skill, reading, writing, speaking and listening. The department of language not only supports to raise the quality of being able to apply English language in all respective computer fields for the computer students but also gives training to improve English skills for all teachers from other departments and staffs. So, the Department of language is providing to cultivate the outstanding computer technicians and giving services for the needs of the University of Computer Studies, Loikaw as soon as possible.
